Our MOMS Club was meeting up at Danica's favorite "jumping place," so that seemed like the perfect way to start her special day.
Hannah got in on the bouncing, too.
Danica's big birthday request was lunch at Chick-fil-a, and I was happy to indulge her. Wesley and his mommy and sister joined us, too.
While the big kids played, Hannah entertained herself with a ketchup packet.
In the evening, she opened her presents - an addition to her dollhouse from Grandma Carolyn.
Doc McStuffins pjs from Pops and Bubbie
Playing with her new cootie game inside her new tent from Mommy and Daddy.
Dinner was followed by a birthday donut.

On Saturday, some of Danica's friends came over for a Winnie the Pooh birthday party. We ate lunch (Piglets in blankets, veggies from Rabbit's garden, Tigger tails (pretzel rods dipped in orange chocolate with black stripes), and Pooh's hunnycomb cereal), did a craft, and played games. This year, the kids were able to understand the games a whole lot better, which made it extra fun!
The birthday girl takes a break from Pin-the-Tail-on-Eyeore.
The long-anticipated Winnie the Pooh cake (Danica had stumbled across the cake pan months ago and thought it was one of the coolest things she had ever seen. and therefore decided that she needed to have a Pooh party).

After the festivities
Happy birthday, Sweet Danica Joy. It's been so much fun to watch you grow. You've had some big milestones this year: you started preschool, learned to write your name, and became a big sister. You always keep us laughing with your wonderful, goofy sense of humor. We pray that as you grow, as Psalm 98:4 says, you will "Shout for joy to the Lord" and will glorify Him in all you do! We love you!
