We had so many fun activities surrounding Halloween this year, that I figured I'd just combine them into one post. This year, Danica decided she wanted to be one of her favorite Disney Jr characters, Doc McStuffins. For those of you who aren't in-the-know, Doc McStuffins is a "doctor" who treats stuffed animal patients in her clinic. Danica figured this was the perfect costume, since she is convinced that she wants to be a doctor someday. Hannah was a cute and very cuddly dalmatian.
Our MOMS Club Halloween party - Hannah hasn't quite mastered sitting still for group photos yet!
Trying on her Doc McStuffins costume
After the Fall Festival at Daddy's school. We waited in line FOREVER to get that rainbow painted on her face!
I took the girls to the Fall Festival at Chick-fil-a. We got to ride around the parking lot on a fun little train.
Hannah loved the train, too!
After the train ride, the kids got to select a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch.
They found the perfect pumpkins!
They used markers and stickers to decorate their pumpkins.
Then we headed inside for lunch and some time in the play place.
And, Danica got her face painted (this time with no long line)!
Carving "Jack,"our pumpkin. Danica named him, "Jack-o-Lantern Jack," but decided we could call him "Jack" for short.
Playing games in the preschool tent at the church hoedown. This annual event is amazing and is such a gift to the children and families in our community.
Going inside a giant bubble, one of Danica's favorite activities.
Taking a break to watch the performers
Always the highlight of the hoedown, the highly-anticipated cotton candy. She opted for blue this year.
The rice was a big hit with Hannah.
More bubbles!

Happy Hannah
Danica REALLY wanted her face painted, and the line was REALLY long. It was getting late in the afternoon, and with no nap, this is what happened. Eventually Daddy, Hannah, and Grandma left, while Mommy and Danica waited it out in the face paint line.
At long last, the sparkly blue lizard she chose for her cheek!
Checking out the fire truck
All dressed up on Halloween!
Halloween was really stormy this year, so neighborhood trick-or-treating was postponed until Nov. 1st. Fortunately, Publix was still holding their indoor event, so we headed over there. It was fantastic - kept Halloween from being a complete bust!
