A bunch more events from an eventful month:
Mom's birthday - so glad we finally get to celebrate together with her after living so far away for so many years!
We hosted a House Party and the kids got to try out some new snacks and games. Danica and Greta thought the all natural Cheetos were great!
Danica and Abby try out Hi-Ho Cherry-O
Sofia and Wesley take a turn playing with Cheeky, the monkey star of the party.
The whole gang
MOMS Club got to sample a dance/movement class
Hannah relaxes out on the driveway.
Over Fall Break, we decided to take a hike out at Old Stone Fort Park. This was the biggest adventure we've attempted with two little ones, and the trail was definitely not stroller-friendly! It was definitely worth it, though, as we were rewarded with some great scenery and wonderful memories.
Danica was eager to lead us with her stellar map-readign skills.
After our hike, we stopped at Reeves Sain for ice cream. Another hit!
Hannah celebrates her milkshake.
Another trip to the zoo, this time started with a ride on a turtle.
Goofy kid!
We were excited to see the new kangaroo exhibit. Unfortunately, the zoo was pretty crowded and the kangaroos weren't feeling especially social and stayed far from the path. You can see them in the background if you look hard enough!
A recent trip to Kids' Castle. Danica's becoming a little more brave on the climbing structures.
Silly sisters ride the grasshopper.
Another trip to the Discovery Center, driving the firetruck.
A quick lesson in auto repair
Diving in a drop of blood
She finds the hidden white blood cell!
Fun in Tiny Town
Hanging out at home
She loves pushing around the stroller, but still hasn't taken her first totally independent steps. I'm sure she will when she's ready!
