After what felt like a whirlwind of Halloween-themed activities for the past week, the real day finally arrived. We carved Danica's mini pumpkin before donning the Swiper costume one last time. Trick-or-treating was a huge success, thanks in no small part to our wonderfully generous neighbors. Danica managed to walk through our whole neighborhood and hit every single house before deciding it was time to head in.
A side note: Danica never did wear her mask. However, we were stopped by one preteen girl who asked us right away if Danica was dressed as Swiper. We asked her how she knew (since without the mask everyone else seemed to think she was an orange cat), and she said she could tell by the tail. Yep, Mommy's sewing skills are just that good!
