I am beyond frustrated with this blog. The pictures are all out of order and I can't get the captions in the right places. I'm just going to write up here, and you're all going to have to figure the rest out for yourselves.
I realize we haven't been the best at updating our blog lately. There are several reasons, really: 1)we've been really busy, 2)we're kind of lazy, and 3)we thought that by withholding pictures of Danica, Jessica's mom might start packing faster and move here more quickly so that she could see her in person. But, all excuses aside, the school year has started and we are getting back in gear. Danny started teaching two weeks ago (school starts EARLY here!). He also starts his classes for his masters degree at MTSU this week. We know it's going to be a lot of work, but we (Jes & Danica) are really proud of him and excited for this opportunity. He takes his classes on Friday afternoons and Saturdays, and it's a big time commitment. If all goes according to plan, he'll have his degree in May of 2013! Now, for a little glimpse of some other things that have been keeping us busy lately:
Danica is currently obsessed with lotion. She likes to sneak her little chair into our bathroom, climb up and reach the lotion pump, and smear gobs of it all over her pretty little face.
The next three pictures are from our latest trip to LP Field. One of Danny's coworkers gave him some Titans tickets, so Jessica and Danny headed out for a night in the "Big City." Conveniently, the game was on Danny's birthday, which made for a fun celebration.
Next, Danica and Wesley attempt to get a drink on a hot day at the park.
The next photo is also from our trip to the "Big City." Wrong order. Oh well.
The next picture is from Cousin Caroline's birthday playdate. Danica loved the cupcakes (or at least the frosting).
The rest of the pictures are from our latest excursion to the Smyrna Splash Pad. Danica took a while to warm up to it this time, but once she gave in and got wet, she had a blast. Now that school is back in session, they crowds are much smaller and there are only little ones to contend with. It's kind of nice. We'll have to try to squeeze in one or two more trips before they close for the season!

You started the same day we did! So early! But the kids were ready. I like the schedule because we get more breaks throughout the school year.
I know Danny will do great in his Master's program! So excited for you all!
