This evening we decided to set up our little shade tent in the backyard. Danica was very excited to go "camping." She informed me that people sleep when they go camping and instructed me to lie down next to her. She found the sunglasses in a tent pocket. She also told me that we needed to sing "camping songs" and led us in a rousing medley of "Twinkle, Twinkle" and "Bluebird, Bluebird." We played with the umbrella, ate popsicles, and, after about an hour, decided it was time to take down the tent and head back in to the comforts of home. I look forward to the day when we REALLY get to go camping together!

Dear ones, so cute. Yes, Danica really does understand camping. It will be fun to do that with her!! Our little Lola and Gabriel were so happy to do just anything. They were so exhuberated that they ran everywhere, chased everything, outran us everywhere. Kids love this.
