Danica turned eleven months old this week. It's so hard to believe that she's almost a year old already! She continues to bring joy and excitement to our lives each day. She's growing quickly and learning lots of new tricks. She's really close to crawling, she can scoot quite far on her bottom, and she can stand while holding onto something. She's just learned to give objects to me, and squeals with delight when I take them (provided, of course, that I give them right back to her). While she still doesn't eat large quantities of food, she is trying lots of new things and loves to feed herself. She's not interested in anything that I try to put on a spoon. I have a feeling that she's going to continue to keep us on our toes as she gets more and more mobile.

Look at the earlier picture of her on the blanket. Her legs are in the same position and she's much longer now. Jessica, I love to read these posts. You do such a great job. . . Danny, I love your calls.

Time sure does fly when you have a baby. Enjoy this time, because soon, very soon, she will be telling you no and running away from you. Wow, almost a year has gone by.
