We started out our Christmas Eve festivities at church, where Danica enjoyed posing in front of the festive decorations and showing her stuffed beaver all the ornaments on the Christmas tree. The whole gang (Daddy, Mommy, Danica, Grandma Carolyn, Uncle Brian, Aunt Jen & Uncle Chuck, and cousins Jake, Trinity, Elijah, and Caroline) attended Christmas Eve services together, then grabbed a bite to eat at Steak & Shake before heading off to our respective homes. At home, Danica baked some cookies for Santa and sprinkled some food for the reindeer out on the lawn before settling in for a long winter's nap.

How many kids get to leave food for the reindeer? I bet she's the only one on her block. Does that mean Santa will stay longer at her house to finish up the cookies while the reindeer get refreshed? Man, Jessica, it makes me know the real reason God gives kids to kids - you have so much energy! Danica is a very blessed child. I am praying much blessing over you guys as you celebrate together. Good your mom and whole fam can be together.
