Today was our MOMS Club annual visit to Cripple Creek Farm. This was our second trip there, but Danica was too young to remember the first one, so it was a whole new adventure! This "farm" is unique in that, in addition to all of the typical farm animals, they have a whole host of exotic animals - everything from reindeer to kangaroos to camels. Danica was so excited leading up to the trip. However, once we got there, all the friendly furry animals were a bit much for her to handle and she decided that she preferred playing on the swings and in the playhouse. She declined a pony ride, however, she eventually decided to have a look at the baby goats (which was great until they got a little too close). She also decided to check out the baby chickens, since they were in a cage. As we were leaving, she was approached by a very friendly fawn and she didn't scream, so I guess we're making progress! We really did have a great time, though. Hopefully next year she'll really be ready to appreciate having the opportunity to pet a zebra!
