This week, we celebrated Dr. Seuss at the Discovery Center. I had to take a picture to document this momentous occasion -not only did Danica make a hat, but she willingly put it on her head!!!
The second momentous event of the day occurred a little while later. It was a gorgeous day, so we went outside to the playground. After I got her situated, Danica was able to play all by herself on the slide. I actually got to sit down on a bench at a park for a few minutes - a first!! I suppose I should be sad because this means our little girl is growing up and becoming more independent, but I have to admit, the break felt rather nice!
Each time she climbed to the top of the stairs, she raised her arms in the air and proclaimed, "I did it!"
Then, she celebrated again after she reached the bottom of the slide. Off to the stairs to start the whole cycle over again!
