Danica had a full day today. We spent the morning at the Splash Pad in Smyrna. Danica's friend, Wesley, wasn't at all interested in the water, but Danica sure was. She stuck pretty close to the perimeter - close enough to get wet, while avoiding all of the major action.
We took a break from the water and relaxed in the shade.
wet hair + a nap in the car on the way home = one crazy hairdo at lunch!
For our afternoon fun, we headed to a friend's house for a sandbox playdate. Danica was a little anxious about sand the last time she saw it, so I wasn't too sure how she would react to it this time. She was quite cautious at first, but thoroughly enjoyed it after she got used to it. We can't wait to go back!
With all of the excitement, Danica hardly napped all day today. Here's hoping she'll sleep well tonight!!
