We headed out to the Annual Murfreesboro Beach Party this evening. Each year the city takes all of the sand it purchases to resurface the ball fields and volleyball courts and spreads it out in a parking lot for all to enjoy. There are sand castle and hula competitions, limbo, music, and fun. We were told that you almost can't tell that you're not at a real beach. That was a stretch, but we still had a good time!

So glad you got to get a taste of the beach here. Looks like a lot of fun in the sand. Brings back memories of Danica's daddy when he used to play in the sand. It IS a little scary at first!!! Looks like fine sand. . .too fine to even eat. She looks like she'll always be curious, but cautious, a very good trait.
