Hard to believe it, but our sweet Hannah has turned one! We had a Very Hungry Caterpillar themed party, and were joined by Aunt Jen, cousins Jake, Trinity, Elijah, and Caroline, as well as special friends Maria, Wesley, and Emily for the celebration.

...but quickly decided that she had had enough. (For future reference, red frosting for a one-year-old might not have been my wisest decision ever.)

Our Sweet, Sweet Hannah,
In just one short year, you have earned such a special place in our hearts. It's hard for us to even remember what our family was like without you! At one year old, you are tiny like your sister was, but not at all short on personality! You aren't walking yet (and don't even have any teeth), but you are constantly on the go and getting into everything. You are frequently underfoot, earning you your nickname, Speedbump :). As your daddy likes to say, you are "cuter than a bag full of kittens sliding down a rainbow." We pray that you will know the God of Psalm 139, who knew you before you were born and that you will praise Him, for you are indeed "fearfully and wonderfully made." We look forward to seeing how you'll grow during the second year of your life and are so thankful God put you in our family!
