Yesterday was a beautiful
day, so we decided to make the most of our zoo membership and headed into Nashville. Danica brought along her National Geographic Kids magazines that she's been receiving from Grandma Carolyn so that she could look for the animals she's been reading about. The only ones we found were the elephants, but she was so excited to stand and compare the pictures to the real thing. Oh, and in case you're wondering, in the last photo Danica is demonstrating how to stand like a flamingo. :)

I'm cleaning out the closets and found the animals I bought for Danica a while back, thinking I'd send them from time to time. I put them in a box with a couple little purses and mailed them off today. They will remind Danica of the fun time she had at the zoo in Nashville.
