Danica's official birthday was on Monday, but our schedules only permitted us to have a small celebration. Danica and Mommy went to Baskin Robbins for her free birthday scoop of ice cream (she chose chocolate), and in the evening Mommy and Daddy watched her open some presents and we celebrated with a birthday donut. The "big party" will be later in the week.
A few fun things about Danica right now:
She loves to be on the go. Every morning, the first question out of her mouth is, "Where are we going?" Staying home and playing is never an acceptable answer.
She loves her friends, and is especially sweet with young babies.
She loves to dance and sing and cracks us up with her crazy dance moves.
A few of our favorite Danica-isms:
"Hangabur" - her version of a hamburger
"Againt" - "again"
"Here comes Stinky!" - this proclaimed loudly as she started to dirty her diaper
Happy birthday to our "Big Girl," Danica. You amaze us every day with your sweet spirit and wonderful sense of humor. We pray that as you celebrate your third year, you will learn to follow the words of Proverbs 3 and trust in the Lord with your whole heart and acknowledge Him in all of your ways. We love you!
