We took a family vacation to Pops & Bubbie's lake house this week. Jen & Chuck & the kids came, too. It was a few days of fun, both on land and in the water!

In the evening, we headed to an outdoor concert. We heard some great Louisiana style music. There were horses in the adjacent field that the kids enjoyed watching.

On the last night of our stay, we went out for a little dinner cruise on Pops's boat.

We packed a bento box full of delicious treats for dinner. As always, the broccoli was Danica's favorite.

After dinner, Danica decided she wanted to go for a swim, so she and Mommy jumped off the side of the boat and took a little dip together.

This is what happens when you go swimming in the lake while wearing a regular diaper. Those things sure are absorbent!
