We've been keeping busy lately. Here's a glimpse of some of what we've been up to the past few days:
A Luau
We went to a luau-themed playdate. They made a cute pineapple craft.
I'm pretty sure that Danica was the only one there in an authentic Hawaiian dress - thanks, Pops & Bubbie!

Swimming
We got together with Sara and her daughter Izzy, our friends from Lawndale. We went to Nashville and they took us to the JCC to go swinging and swimming.
They had a fantastic baby pool that the girls loved.

Lounging by the pool
Discovery Center

We had a pajama party at our Parents & Tots class at the Discovery Center last week. Here's Danica with her party hat. Not only did she want to wear it, but she kept it on most of the day!
Dinner at Wesley's
The three of us went over to have dinner with Maria & Michael, Wesley, and Baby Emily. Danica and Wesley were quite industrious in the time we were there.
They started out painting this masterpiece together, but Danica's attention span was a bit longer than Wesley's.
They played Wii together, too.
They used Play Doh, too.
Discovery Center (again!)
Our last Parents & Tots class for the summer was supposed to be an outdoor water play time, so the kids all wore their swim suits. Unfortunately, it was stormy last night and most of the parents thought it was too cold to play outside in the water (seriously?!? It was in the low 70s!) So, I tried to cheer Danica up by letting her splash around at the indoor water table instead.

Playing peek-a-boo in the Discovery Center cottage.
Cooking up some strawberries
Getting ready to get her concoction out of the oven
Then we headed to the lilly pond to look for tadpoles, and Danica finally managed to fall in the water (I knew it was bound to happen one of these days). Fortunately, it was only one leg and she was wearing flip flops :)!

Checking out the beautiful flowers
