Danica and I hit the zoo the other day. It had been a few months since we had gone, so this was the first trip where she was really able to recognize a lot of the animals. She was a very excited little girl!

Danica was looking forward to the elephants all day and kept begging to go back and see them again!
So excited - she spotted the giraffes!
The mommy and baby giraffes were the highlight of the trip. She's still talking about them!
One of the giraffes cooperated and came nice and close for us.
