Gatlinburg

Last week, Danny attended a teaching conference in Gatlinburg for three days. Jessica and Danica got to tag along and explore the city.

We had a fantastic time at the aquarium. Here Danica is learning about the controls used to monitor the tanks.

Looking for fish

Danica sits down for a rest in front of one of the tanks.

Sea turtle

They have a long acrylic tunnel going through one of the tanks. Several of the sawfish seemed to enjoy hanging out right above our heads.

Danica walks through a tunnel under the penguin exhibit

Checking out the outdoor penguins

Looking for treasure

She crawled under the exhibit,...

...figured out how to stand up,...

...but couldn't seem to understand that she then needed to look UP to see the fish!

Christmas tree outside the aquarium

Checking out a saddle at a restaurant at dinner

Chillin' in the hotel room, watching some tv,...

and, dancing a little, too!

A really big rocking chair. She wasn't impressed.

She looks like she is so content, except for the rocking chair experience. Gaitlinburg is near where Rich and his family had a motel and golf course in Cherokee, NC. So glad you girls got to go, too.
