The weather was nice today, so Danica and I headed off to the zoo. We went without a stroller for the first time, since it is starting to slow us down (Danica would much rather push it than ride in it). Danica loved walking along the paths, and I ended up having to carry her much less than I had anticipated.

The meerkats are always one of her favorite exhibits because they are so active and she can get close to the action. Here she's pointing out a meerkat as it runs by.

This was our first time to the zoo since the new flamingo exhibit opened. They were a lot of fun to watch.
This picture looks pretty pathetic, but she really did like them!
She got very excited about a mini waterfall next to the bridge.
