I've joined a stroller walking group through the Parks & Rec Dept that meets to walk at a different park or trailhead each week. It's been great to help me get to know the area and meet some fun moms at the same time. At the end of each walk, we usually spend half an hour at a playground to let the older kids get their energy out. This week, however, we had a meet & greet with the critters at the Wilderness Station. They had snakes, lizards, turtles, and other creatures. Danica had great fun interacting with Jack, the box turtle.
