Today was our first attempt at introducing Danica to solid foods. She really seemed to enjoy the taste of the rice cereal and lapped it up eagerly from the spoon. Figuring out how to swallow it, however, was a bit more challenging. While she did manage to get some on her clothes, her ear, and in her hair, we're not too sure whether any of it actually made it to her stomach.

Ahhhh, yummy rice cereal. That's what her daddy ate first, too. Nothing like a little cereal to hit the tummy. She'll catch on really fast. When Danny's Grandma came to visit us she gave him anything he'd open his mouth for - and, he was about this age. I think he missed Grandma and all the food when she left. We went back to just yummy rice cereal.
